We are thrilled to announce that Fogarty Wine Group wines have taken home four trophies at the Royal Queensland Wine Awards last night.
The Millbrook 2023 Regional Grenache Shiraz Mourvèdre has been awarded two trophies at the Royal Queensland Wine Awards this week for Best Value Red Wine of Show and Best Grenache Blend of Show.
This is the second Best Value Red Wine Trophy the Millbrook GSM has won – last year saw this wine awarded a Best Value Trophy at the Sydney Royal Wine Show.

Speaking on this phenomenal result, Millbrook Winemaker Emma Gillespie said: "Wow, what a great start to the 2024 Australian show season for Millbrook! I have always felt that the Regional GSM overdelivers on quality, and quite simply, it's a delicious wine. I'm glad that the judges at the Queensland show have recognised this, and have picked out a Western Australian Grenache blend from amongst its national peers."
The Deep Woods Estate 2023 Reserve Chardonnay was awarded two trophies for Best Chardonnay and Best White Wine at the Royal Queensland Wine Awards last night.
Speaking on this epic result, Senior Winemaker Matt Buchan said: “The announcement of these two trophies is something the entire team at Deep Woods can be excited about. These awards hold significant value to us as the judging panel have recognised the precision and detail of our reserve Chardonnay and the pedigree of fruit from which it was made. We are proud to stand up as a successful Margaret River producer at the Royal Queensland Wine Awards and are looking forward to the release of this great vintage later in the year.”
