Technical
vintage
2024 was one of the earliest vintages ever seen in Margaret River. Consistently warm and dry conditions allowed for exceptional fruit ripeness and flavours with a very well-balanced natural acidity for such a hot year. Extensive marri blossom meant pest pressure in the vineyard was minimal.
winemaking
Semillon was sourced from the northern Margaret River where it achieved full ripeness imparting richness to the wine. The Sauvignon Blanc fruit was sourced from the southern-most part of Margaret River, where the most vibrant fruit is found, lending a linear acidity to the blend.
Winemaking techniques enhanced fruit purity through the use of neutral stainless-steel tanks and an aromatic yeast strain for fermentation.
